On Saturday, me, Mommy, and Auntie Sarah took an impromptu trip to the city to go shopping. I got to ride in Auntie Sarah's Trailblazer which was so much fun! I could see much further away than in Mommy's Lumina and even had  a good view of those huge semi trucks.

We went to the mall so Auntie Sarah could pick up her watch thingy that was getting fixed. The floor at the jewelry store was sparkly and I found it very interesting. So interesting that I didn't want to pose for a picture!

I also got to go to my first toy store! There were toys EVERYWHERE!! My Mommy was too busy sticking crazy monster things in my face to take a picture though. I was a bit overwhelmed and didn't get too excited over anything that I saw. Auntie Sarah threatened to buy me a GIGANTIC giraffe that was even bigger than my doggy friends!

After the mall, we went to Kohl's, where I got my diaper changed on one of those cold plastic crazy contraptions that comes out of the wall. Not a fan. At least my Mommy didn't take a picture of me being miserable!

After Kohl's, we went to go have some dinner. I was so excited because I was going to get to sit in a real high chair instead of my boring old car seat for once. My parents have never let me do that before, but Auntie Sarah makes my mom brave!!

There was only one problem....

I fell asleep on the way to the restaurant and slept all the way through dinner.

It's a good thing I got a nap in because it was nearly dark and I have this great new thing. When I'm riding in the car and it's dark, I like to make sure my people stay awake. I do this by screaming and sobbing and yelling as much as I can. No one can sleep through that, right? I've been doing it for about a month and nothing my parents do can seem to fix it. Dome light on? Nope. Ride in the back with me? Nope. Try to drive until I wear myself out? No way - I can scream for an hour straight if I'm in the car! Give me Mommy's cell phone to play with? Nope. I really impressed Auntie Sarah I think - I screamed for nearly 50 minutes on the ride home!

I hope we go shopping again soon!
