amyGage seems to be quite the opposite from Mason and has always LOVED books...since he could sit up he has flipped through books for a half hour at a time easily and he would much rather sit in front of his bookshelf for an hour than play w/ one single toy. Some of his favorites are 'Happy Birthday Baby' from the Dr. Suess nursery collection, he LOVES the 'Itsy Bitsy Spider' and 'Ducky Duck' by Kate Toms and 'How a Dinosaur Says he Loves You'. My favorite books of his are Sandra Boynton too! I also love 'How many Kisses do you want tonight?' and the Dr Suess ABC book. I'm sure you didn't need to know ALL of that.

I am currently reading Jodi Piccoult's 'Handle w/ Care'.

SarahThose photos are so cute. We usually try to read at least one book a day. Sometime I forget though. Dustyn loves reading.

Laura @ The Things I Said I'd Never DoMax will not sit still for more than a few seconds so reading has been a challenge. I need to try harder because I want to share my passion with him.

I did the 40 book goal two years ago, pre-kid, and loved it. I found so many great books. I am going to look up some of your suggestions!

AllieI have been wanting to read The Help after my friends raved about it. Did you like it?

I thought that I would read daily to my kids too but it wasn't until very recently that Sarah Hazel has started to sit still and let me read a book. Now we read a ton of them everyday! We like the extra girly ones like Madeline, Pinkalicious, Eloise but also the Richard Scarry books.
