MollyYou should have called Auntie Molly! I'm full of crafty ideas. Have you tried playdough? Or a (grrr stupid pregnancy brain) one of those tub/tables you put rice or dry noodles in?

ColeTry taking a trip to your local Petsmart - fish and birds and lizards and everything - it's like a very small zoo! Do any of your local libraries or bookstores have story time?

AllieWe like frequenting the children's section in book stores on rainy days or when it's too hot/cold to be outside.

mandi mcclureThe fish at Walmart are the ONLY way I can get my 2 yr old into the store willingly if he's awake. When we go in, it's the first thing he asks to see. At least it's cheaper than going to an aquarium. Sometimes. :-)

Colleen @ Mommy PandaHave you tried Yo Gabba Gabba? Walmart sells some of their DVDs for $10 if you don't have Nick Jr. The Munchkin is OBSESSED with that show, hence his bday party theme.

As for indoor activities, The Munchkin likes it when I "chase" him around the coffee table, lol. That and climbing the stairs over and over and over burns off energy. Baths tire him out too, for some reason. Maybe cuz it's like swimming, but indoors?

We do a lot of thrifting as well. Seeing all the new people tires him out. (He is very social and greets just about everyone.)

Do you have a Barnes & Noble near you? The one near us does story time on Wednesdays.
